"Positionality" is the modern woke form of polylogism, the Marxian idea that different economic classes literally possess different "logic," or minds, such that the bourgeoisie literally could not think the same as the proletariat; they literally _could not have the same ideas_.
Wokal I highly recommend you you check out the Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises. His epistemological work on praxeology (the study of human action) is the perfect antidote for the horrors and nonsense wrought by the "dialectic."
yup and "internalized whiteness" or "internalized misogyny" are just new ways of saying "false consciousness".
All of Woke/Soc Just is rooted in Marxist-Leninism and Maoism, where the end always justifies the means and where no lie is too big (or small) to utter and defend, all for the Cause.
The New Left is an obvious update (or child) of the Old Left, just w a few modifications: they've swapped out "the proletariat" for "the marginalized", redistribution of wealth & assets for redistribution of status and self-esteem, they no longer organize in union halls for wage modifications but in academia for language modification (bc they believe that words make thought and thought makes action, ergo if u control people's words u can control their actions), and they no longer gain power by shedding blood but by shedding tears.
The Cultural Revolution is here and Americans have no idea what's hit them...
Thanks, this is really helpful. One note: please re-read with an editor’s eye. There are missing or extra letters, “and” when you mean “an”, etc. It gets distracting.
You nailed it. I wrote about this in a similar vein a while back. It's sinister and somewhat creepy when you see how language is being changed all the time.
