I only say this because I want you to be effective, and maybe this is the PR person in me - but please proofread or hire an editor! You make so many good points, but you don't want your message to be lost because people got distracted by the typos. Again, I love that you are doing this, but trust me, any dissenter will see that first typo, cling to it, and tear you through the mud with it. Grammarly is a free extension for basic spelling and grammar, but I'm also sure someone would gladly edit your work.

Thank you! :-)

A good example of this is news outlets using euphemisms like “gender-affirming care” or “therapies for transgender minors” instead of referring directly to genital surgery and mastectomies.

The former phrases sound nice, until you learn what they really mean.

I’m very appreciate of you taking the time to explain the manipulation of language by the woke mob. Thank you for what you are doing.

Another small example are the woke comments under news items on drag-queen events for children. Invariably "So you'd ban pantomimes, would you?"

Also rephrasing opponents argument to things most people will object to. Like calling the Florida law the “don’t say gay law”

Best example of this is culturally responsive education frameworks (critical pedagogy). Hidden behind language about tolerance, respect and positivity, are copious references about dismantling systems, power/oppression, and implicit biases. Further, for all the language about culturally diverse voices, listed as a top educational imperative is the “critical conscious lens” that students need to adopt above all other worldviews and perspectives.

Thank you for this series. The manipulation of language is a key tactic and cannot be emphasized enough to the public at large.

wonderful work you're doing!

when I talk to the woke, i often try to find a middle ground by saying something like: "I suspect we have many core values in common (e.g. celebrating diversity, equal opportunity, a more level economic playing field, universal healthcare, and so on). That said, i think many of your solutions need to be discussed and improved."
